You can't just talk about offset without mentioning the width of the rim, although you mentioned 245/40/18 so I would assume maybe a 9" or 9.5" wheel?

18x9 +30 w/245/40/18 is aggressive for the front (will require a roll and mild flare) but not for the rear. 18x9.5 +30 for the rear is easily doable with 245/40/18, just a roll, no flare.

18x9.5 + 30 is aggressive for the rear on a stock body with a 255/35/18 tire.

Relocating the rear bumper bolt basically means shaving off the original bumper mounting location along with parts of the rear bumper where it would meet the tires during compression. The new mounting location is moved back about several inches with a new mounting hole re-drilled.

- my 2 cents.

i think you misunderstood me i have 18" work emotion cr kai which are staggered on my s2k. the front is 18 x 7.5 with falken 912 225/40/18 and the rears are 18 x 8.5 with 245/40/18 and they dont rub at all and im lowered about 2 1/2 inches front and rear im tucking tire i rolled the rear fender and cambered it in -5 degress on each side but the front didnt need anything wheels didnt rub at all front is 48 and rear is 43.

now here is what im asking i want to get rota grids 17x9.5 with a 30 offset im asking what tire sizes should i get and will i require any more moddification in order for it to not rub?

-5 degrees? wtf. seems way over kill for the set up. if you got a real nice roll and pull and wanna stay with -5 camber you can toss some 255's under the rear but ide rather see less camber and a 245 as for the fronts give it a nice flare and a 235 shouldn't be an issue.

side notes: Who knew a 195 45 17 was an odd ball size tire (2-3 week wait for delivery) damnnnnn it
