My only fear is that my hard top sides are black and the wing is cf. I don't want them to clash

Mugen hardtop and the JDM spoiler really transform the S2000.

my vote is to paint it...well the top half..i am going to on my BB. i feel like too much exposed carbon fiber is ugly

Any comments on fit and finish? How does water not get into the brake light area? Is it sealed off with insulation. Is 3m tape provided etc.

from the top and sides look good but they need to do something about the rear..looks rice.

Yes 3m tape comes with the spoiler and goes around all of the edges of it. If you bolt the third break light back down correctly it will seal the area enough to prevent water from entering.
Mine pretty much has no gaps once installed right. The top edges stick up slightly on the left side but it's pretty much unnoticeable.
