What you're seeing is heat reflective tape which sits right above the exhaust housing on the turbo. I did that before I had the turbo blanket so I wouldn't damage the paint.

horry shit gallardo wheels
Yeah, they certainly aren't for everyone but I've enjoyed them.

Dare I ask how hard, and expensive these were to find? I remember when first saw this setup on your car a while back,it blew my mind. I'd seen it a few times on Some Euro whips, but never though I would have sen it on an S2. I still like it a lot.

Honestly you can find a set of chrome ones for 3-4k, you can sometimes find the standard finish versions in the 2-3k ball park. Then you need to order a set of adapters which is about 350 so it's not much more expensive than a set of ccw's or other wheels. Lastly, thanks for your kind words

So this guy must have re-drilled them for the 5x114.3 lug and then you have to worry about offsets! I admit they look pretty sweet (A+ for effort) but I wonder how strong these wheels would be after all the modifications....
You are correct the wheels are 5x112, but they are not re drilled. I am running 20mm wheel adapters which are the same as a wheel spacer except it changes the pcd from 5x114.3 to 5x112.
