My cars engine bay is filthy from having the work done, any tips on cleaning it without emptying it?

I really have no idea how to go about it besides a pressure washer on a light setting, and dish brush...

Heres basically how I clean mine. All you need is an all purpose cleaner, a hose, and an engine dressing spray
