I'm really confused by all this, "if you don't like it, don't post". I'm almost positive this is a public forum so if your ego or lack of security can't handle a negative comment then maybe you are the one that shouldn't post.

Spoon wheels are ugly, nuff said. Yes, they maybe functional, but they are not good looking wheels, why do you think they are painted only flat black. Hell, Spoon stopped using them ages ago for 16" Work Emo's andd now ride on strictly CEs or RE's it seems. So for SW388's owners, don't get your panty's in a bunch because you're rocking civic and intergra wheels that even Spoon has abandoned the use of on a primere Honda vehicle like the S2000.
You're a bit confused. Spoon doesn't run the designated Spoon SW388 anymore because they've developed an aero kit which would be ridiculous to run 16s on. Why go with a widebody and run a 16 inch setup on it? I have yet to see the new Spoon car with all it's aero run Spoons. However if you look back at the old school Spoon car...

Hi,

Is there a way to tell if it's real sw388 if there is no desmond sticker on it?
I bought my car used and the wheels look very similar to these pictures.

Thanks.

very easy, search for rota slipstream and compare it to these pictures.

the finish is an easy way to tell if they are real or not

Not only that but Desmonds usually have metal valve stems (unless they have been replaced) Rota uses rubber ones. If they are glossy than they are fakes, but I have seen some that have been painted flat that look pretty damn close.

Hey guys just wanna ask, how do i distinguish between genuine and imitation of the SW388?

Do these rims come with 4 holes? 15" 4x100?
