I've tried looking around but can't find an answer, has anyone found if Advan RZII 17x8+54 clear any BBKs or what size spacer would be required to clear BBK? Trying to do a staggered setup with 17x9 +63 in the rear.

i checked the spoon caliper thread and "Advan RG-D 17x8 +54 offset w/ +3~5mm spacer" was noted... good luck!

Went from a set of RZs to TC4s in 17x9.5 +50 all around. Here's the new setup the day I put it on, since then I've swapped to a more aggressive summer tire and plan to lower the rear maybe a 1/4" further. Center caps are on order as well.

The 8J45 version of the wheel you installed clear the ap racing cp9440 caliper with a 330x28 disc. A kit which is commonly sold here in hong kong. Hence you would need a 10mm spacer for any other relatively skinny caliper. You could get away with less than that but the best is to measure. Otherwise the B32-6 kit from tarox works with the oem wheels and for sure with yours too. Ciao

I have the same wheels in the same specs, what did you do for tire sizes? I was going to run Yokohama Advan ad09 in 225/45/17 front and 255/40/17 for the rear. I was wondering if a 255 would be too wide for the 9” wheel in the rear?

I had a similar setup (same size, but different tires) for like 5 years. You'll be fine.

This is my old setup, as the picture was from several years ago. Advan RSII wheels.

Front: 17x8 +54 with 225/45R17 tires
Rear: 17x9 +63 with 255/40R17 tires. At the time I have Bridgestone S-04 Pole Position tires.

This is the safe, conservative S2000 spec.

the ap racing cp9440 fits under the tc4 in the same dimensions/offset you mentioned, I have seen it on a japanese website with a 332x28mm disc so the rz2 should be close.
If you decide to go for a 8J45 any advan will do, this is a very common set up in Hong Kong where I live, cp9440 with a 330x28mm disc
ciao

I have the RZII in 17x8 +54 and found that the cp9441 w/ a 340mm rotor just barely interferes with the wheel spoke when I tested with the template from Urge. It would probably be ok w/ a 5mm spacer. Using a smaller rotor would make fitment more difficult.
The only BBK I've seen that would work on this wheel without a spacer is the Tarox kit.
