I was his wheels in a slightly lower offset

Liking the AP1 dude. Looks good on those wheels.

i have been telling him to reverse the faces on his rims. that should push him an extra 10 mm out in the rear. and it would be perfect at that point.

I thought flipping face on LM's was 15mm?
