it sits a little lower the countersunk is really lower though it makes it seem like you have a short shifter..


this is really small i like it i get a good grip out of it..

i found these pics on here and always wanted to find out who the owner is so i can ask him what temp he had to heat up the stock knob. i'm guessing 1000-1200 degrees.

once they turn all silver we can heat them back to blue and repeat?

Yes. Using a torch which can be purchased at any hardware store. Make sure the shift knob is clean with no oils, dirt, etc. Heat it up with the torch until you get your desired color and let it cool off.

I made a contructiondrawing of a shiftknob, I wanted it to be completely clean without any numbers or leather on it...
Went for mor or less the same design as oem... so a collegue did the turnwork and I polished the aluminium to a mirror...
