i bought my AP1 with a shaved trunk.. i didn't even notice until i questioned why is it such a trouble to open the trunk, i had to go inside the car and open the center box and pop open the trunk.. then when i got my alarm installed, they told me the trunk latch was still there so i took a look and sure enough, it was shaved off ( ) but now i just have remoet trunk release on my alarm

 

are you guys shaving these with steel? Do you have any in process pics of the difficulty of it? Love the look.

Actually, mine were welded up, then bondo'd, prepped and painted when the whole car was color-changed.
