its a great idea for a thread but not many people know what this is... basically its a full body recolor using vinyl instead of paint... it costs about half as much as a full respray and is a bit more practicle for people that hit the track often or live on gravel roads. the vinyl is much easier to replace on one fender rather than fading a paint job to color match.... so lets see what you guys have. i know that there was an AP1? recently that had a full light blue wrap done. looked wicked.

I hope to do a wrap pretty soon. My sis has her on vinyl business so I have access to a certain extent to get the vinyl and some help applying it to the car. I plan to do a full gloss white wrap. I hope to see some pictures posted in this thread!!! Cool idea OP.

Yes. It will just be a gloss finish vinyl mimicking paint, thats all. I don't like all the matte vinyls.....looks like primer. The ONLY reason that I want to do a wrap is to change the color up a bit, without having to paint the car. I like my Silverstone, but I also like Grand Prix White as well. So, I can sort of have both!! LOL. Sure, Ill have to take a good bit of the car apart to do the wrap correctly, such as fenders; bumpers, possibly doors, etc. If I do the wrap, I will be doing the door jambs and where the fenders bolt down. I will leave the engine bay Silverstone. Its something that I am seriously considering. Gotta talk to the big sis first.
