BTW, I'm considering doing the 04 conversion myself (only the front bumper, front lip, rear bumper).

It all depends. White is all together hard as hell to match. First time I brought my sideskirts to the shop to get painted, they were really off. A whole lot whiter than the car. Then I had them painted a second time at another place. They tell me that even though its Grand Prix White, there are three different shades. White, whiter and whitest! It all depends when your car was painted in the assemby line. Mine was the least white with more "eggshell" due to the fact that yellow cars are painted before the white ones and there was still some yellow residue left in the paint guns. Toward the end of the white cars being painted is when it is most white and is what the other bodyshop painted it the first time. With that all said, it still doesn't match 100% but is not that noticable now. You wont get it perfect unless you fade in the adjacent panels.

I got a perfect match on my HT and lip the first try. No problem.

It is not only hard to match, the different materials the kits are made of make the color turn out differently too.

When my body shop repainted my bumer, it matched better than factory paint. But even though the lip and bumper were painted together, there was still a very slight difference in shade.

Correct. Also PM Asahi_9, he has a brand new rear bumper for sale that he no longer needs. He is also local.
