Just bought a set of these for my wifes WRX wagon in 17X9 +44.........had to special order them and wait 6 months since they are 5X100 though

Nice. Yeah I was able to get them with free work RS lug nuts as they had a special so see if they still have that going.
Yeah I'll try to get some pics up as soon as possible. My skills are not good though haha.

Would this be considered stretched?



I'm surprised these stick out so far. These front tires are 225/45; would 245/45 or 245/40 be a better choice?

I think the 225s are a great option if you don't want to pull your fronts out too much. I ran them when I had my Emotions and they looked great even with the mild stretch. It's not like you're putting a 195 series tire on there. Plus, Dunlop Direzza star specs are a great tire (much better than oem) as far a performance is concerned. Now, I would personally go with 245/40/17s all around, but I'm okay with modifying my fenders to make them fit. The front end grip of 245/40/17s and/or 255/40/17 is very addicting!

My setup of 225/45/17 Front and 255/40/17 rear. Just a tiny bit of stretch, but still more contact patch than OEM tires.
