curious, how far does the seat have to be moved foward for the cage to fit? im 5'9, dont want my knees to be sitting on the dash

 

I'm curious, what the hell is the point of the stock roll hoops if they don't do anything? Didn't Honda crash test the car, why didn't they make them taller? I realize they don't test for 7 rolls off a cliff but...

 

not that far. I had a 4pt one time and you can pretty much get the seat within 2-3 clicks for the farthest setting. I'm 6'2 and didn't have a problem fitting.

I have a custom hard dog 5 point coming that looks similar to the above and WILL be removing my roll hoops as well.

Does anyone know how much modding (hacking, rewelding) is involved with fitting a current Cusco cage into an 06+. I am considering it, but would like to know what all is involved.

I may just go with the Hard Dog and be done with it. It's SCCA approved and I would assume it will bolt right in.

And wow...just looked them up. I had seen the website, but decided to check out the contact info. They're right next door (well, NC as opposed to the west coast)
