You have to drill holes in the car. The rollbar already has the holes. Correct that the passenger side is the one that you have to mod to fit.

 

does either the cusco 4 or 5 pt w/ harness bar fit oem ap2 hardtop?

 

I see any problems caused by the holes if you later remove the roll bar? Rust etc. I believe they all work with hardtops. Wonder how much a shop would charge to do the brake bend and weld job.

 

Took less than an hour, so I think I paid $60 or $75.

The Hard Dog fits the 06+ without modification to the bar. Some cutting in the wheel wells and a good amount of interior plastic trimming is needed. It's compatible with the soft top and hardtop (with the rear latches trimmed down or bent).
