Speaking of; Does anyone know from a safety standpoint what are the pros/cons of eyelets vs wrapping the bar?

I wanted to use the mugen trim piece to keep it looking clean and as oem looking as possible. The mugen trim has pre-cut holes for the eyelets, so that was why i went with it.

so you arent going to make a halo bar or anything like that to come across the front windshield? and did you choose to weld in the cage, or did you bolt it down.
