hey dick, the cusco cage sits higher up than the OEM roll hoops therefore will take all the impact and save their lives before the OEM hoops can. The fiberglass work might crack but im sure it will stay in place and not affect anything!

hasn't there been enough discussion about these roll bars and how dangerous they really are on the street without a helmet? during a roll-over, your head get's tucked into your chest and the steel oem hoops provide much more protection. And if you are bouncing around during an accident, you have a good risk of smashing your head against the bar. Not to mention, the Cusco bars will crumble and collapse during a roll-over. that seems to be the consensus here...

There has been plenty of pictures of Cusco 4 point bar holding up a car thats rolled over and people not hitting their heads. Theres even a picture of a roof that collapsed over an S2000 bending a hardtop but stopped by the Cusco.

A consensus that I've never seen backed up by a single picture.

Agreed. Everyone and thier mother's will claim the cusco bar is garbage and will crush but no one has the pictures to back it up, whereas the other way around people have multiple pictures of it holding up in accidents.

That's not what important. whats important is people who have never raced a car, rolled a car or even seen the factory metal hoops with there own eyes heard the truth from there cousin who knows a guy.

I give this one 2 more minutes before it murders me. Not even enough time to paint it
