I recently bought a voltex type III wing that came with a silverstone trunk. My cars nfr and I just got a replacement trunk to drill. The silverstone one didn't have a spoiler and this nfr one came with the oem spoiler but not drilled. Would it be okay to mount the wing right behind the spoiler or will it be to far forward? I don't mind removing it but would like to leave it if possible or use my tamon spoiler.

New Nfr one (slid off as I took the picture, lines up just fine)

It *might* look ok but I would have someone hold the spoiler up and you to look at before deciding. I think it would be best to remove the spoiler. Doing double spoiler/wing combo is a lot going on bro!

In any case I can't wait to see it on your car!

Did you put the 3m tape extra? I can't recall if my spoiler cmlame with 3m but I didnt have issues removing it to put my wing on. There was residue but easy to remove.

I don't think it'll be a good idea to mount the wing stand bases that far up because on the type 2 base you cannot adjust the wing forward and backward as much so the wing will look really forward.

I don't know what kind of 3m on it. I just bought the trunk like this and got told it was only stuck on with 3m tape. What did you do to remove yours easily?

I used them on my past car and it worked fine and much stronger than floss.

The OEM spoiler should come with screws. If its only 3Md on there then I'm not sure how to remove without messing up paint. Guess fishing line or something of that nature.
