Thanks everyone for chiming in with various suggestions from the Mid-Winter meet last night.
Of course, being the responsible one, I didn't bring anything to write down various times/dates, for some of the events that were suggested.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the additional events that were not listed were


Speeds Night (seperate from the regular one's down in Columbus) in January (not s2k exclusive)

Border Wars

Ohio Mod Day (seperate from the one tenatively planned for Toronto) (not s2k exclusive..or is it?)

Ohio Run to the Dragon (sometime in July) (not s2k exclusive)

I'm wondering so I can add everything together, compile it, and have StrangeDaze sticky it for our 2005 events.

I think sometime in January was when we where thinking of doing full Speeds thing. I'll send Rich a PM and ask him to check with the owners.

I think Speeds is car enthusiasts in general. Aside from there being too many people (which is not likely) any of you guys can attend. And buy the S2k guys beer at Hooters afterward.

I am up for a January SPEEDS event. All are welcome...even our EVO bretheren.
Joe and I will talk and see if a Honda Homecoming event can be put together in May (I think May). I did not get a chance to look into it this year. I think it could be a great event if I can get with the folks at Honda in Marysville.

last year the event was held July 29th ~ 31st. i think it would be pretty cool to have a block of s2000's representing at honda homecoming

 

The biggest problem with Speeds is that we will need an exact count and money up front. If we promise him 50 people and he cuts us a deal, I can't have only 30 showing up. I'll need a preliminary estimate, then a hard number with the money paid up front.
