Nowhere did I read that the winners were in attendance!. I agree with JonasM. If it weren't for parents, no, and I repeat, NO fund raiser would be a success. To disqualify a parent because the child is selling tickets is ludicrous.
Also, to suggest that any part of the raffle was not above board is to insult the school and everyone related to the school. They don't deserve it.

I was a bit hesitant to post this up from the get-go, for the very reason that is happening. The internet is a nameless, faceless place and, although many in the OH forum know me, many do not. In the end, after discussing w/Motoo, I decided to post it up because (a) it involved an s2000, (b) it ultimately benefitted education and
Those that are questioning the legitimacy of this raffle, give me a freaking break!!! Do you think that our purchasses even represented 1 percent of the tickets that were sold?? For the sake of the sucess of the fund raising I would hope not. Given simple statistics it should not be a suprise that none of us won, I for one would have been suprised if one of us would have. IMO the point of these things is not to win something cool, it is to donate to a good cause, winning would just be a bonus.
