Clift and I didn't leave till around 5:30, which got me home around 8:30. I am absolutely dragging butt! It's soon nighty night time. I'm glad I didn't fall a sleep, I would have burnt up, as it is, my better half is giving me crap for the bad burn. Oh Well!

 

First off, I want to thank Pete for putting this thing together. It sounded great and I was looking forward to it. I had signed up and was ready to go with stickers and all. Looks like I could have meet some more people in the group and had a blast. Unfortunately, due to family issues, I was not able to make it and had no real notice. I am not excusing myself for missing, I am just apoligizing to all that obviously put in a lot of work to make this happen.

 

Thank you again Pete for organizing this, my father and I had a great time.

On the trip up Saturday, I re-illustrated the point of the speed required to drive top-down in the pouring rain to my dad He was worried for a second there. I'm very glad there wasn't but a sneeze of rain at the track.

Once there we were pretty clueless on a good place to go, thanks to Mark and Mary for giving us a hand!

I think my lap passenger got a bit more excitement than he expected, but I'm not sure if it was worth the $200,000 his buddy donated to get him in.
