Default attention Mahoning county s2k owners

Greetings. I am writing this to basically see how many members there are in mahoning county and how many would be interested in getting together. I am ubable to join in with alot of the big events that go on in the s2k community and was wondering if maybe taking it on a smaller scale was more practical. I wanted to see if local mahoning county owners would like to do some cruises, trips, or hang outs. I figure if a small group of us get to know each other we can more frequently do things together. I am not talking about daily meets but maybe once a month or even weekly if it suits all involved and we do it locally. So, just let me know your level of interest and ideas. Of course all in the s2k community are welcome but i justed wanted to check into smaller more local get togethers. Thanks.

Brian,

Why don't you hang out with us for some of our events? We're only about an hour away. sp2-s2k lives in your neck of the woods and he hangs with us. He is also organizing a Youngstown meet for us. See the thread above re: 2003 Schedule of Events for more info.

Yes ohioracer i will definitely try to, but i am also looking for some local guys to do more spontaneous type hang outs. I'd like to have some get togethers at a local A&W rootbeer on route 224. Alot of car guys meet there on various occasions.

Brian- I'll be in that neck of the woods in April. I know exactly which A&W you are talking about. Coming from the Southern Park Mall, it would be on the righthand side, right? My dad used to take his Model A roadster there as well(mid 90's). I'll be staying about 15 minutes from there.

I hope to meet everyone soon!

Thanks for asking, OhioRacer. He started his 3rd week of treatment. Starting to feel some effect. His spirits are relatively good.

As for my "Princess," she has a new set of springs and smoked headlights!
I have one more week before I can actually drive top down... just had LASIK .

Skip,
Glad to hear your Dad is doing better! Not sure exactly when A&W will start up with the car shows, but last year it wasn't till May. And yes it is the A&W that you described.
I plan on hooking up with Brian and try to make as many of these events as possible. Also on Saturday's is another show at the Southern Park Mall. Just maybe the three of us can get together.

Sam
