Bye #5, Hello #6...

Shown:4x2 Double Cab SR5 Standard Bed shown in Slate Metallic with available 4.7L V8
Well I believe the time has come for me to get my next vehicle.
Obviously by the thread title...it's going to be a Tundra.
With today's ending incentive on the money factor, I'm a fool to pass it up.
I'm saving nearly $100 just to let it sit in my driveway everyday and will keep it for 36 months. Not like I'll ever see that many months, but still.
My intention before the bitching starts is to pull/haul my 4wheeler anywhere I want, whenever I want. Do random housework/yardwork or anything else I may need a truck for.
I can borrow one anytime from my work, but the gas between here/there is stupid!

We don't need two hobby cars, when Allyson's (my gf) is more fitting.
I'm closer to 30 than I am to the tuner age. My priorities in life has changed some, but still value car people. I've earned a nice living from going from one lifestyle and finding the Scion lifestyle. People called me stupid then, I look back now and just smile. My vehicle interest span has always gotten the best of me, and this way I can continue that span.
Here's what I'm getting on the 4x4 Tundra SR5 Double Cab:

One of our neighbors bought a black Tundra 4x4; very nice and it's huge
and the guy directly across the sreet from him bought a Ford F150 4x4 . We're keeping bets on who visits the dealership more for warranty issues
Enjoy

Avoid the 5.7L motor. They have potentially bad camshafts. Aside from that, Toyota is mimicking the domestics and putting loads of cash in the bed to move these things.
They've done what they wanted to do, now they're just holding their heads up high and laughing all the way to the market share bank.
The motor I'm going with is the 4.7, not the 5.7. I don't need that much motor to haul a 600lb 4wheeler around.
Now...when Jon's Camry finally dies, atleast I can haul that back to here to get fixed.
