Chance of a "Lifetime"
Just like to invite our Ohio friends to our area meet, Sat. June 14th @ 2:00PM......When ??? Saturday, June 14th @ 2:00PM.....
Where ?? The root beer stand, located @ 11566 Readinf Road, Sharonville, Ohio.
The "Chance of a Lifetime" ????........to see ( 3 )serial # 1 Corvettes..!!!together..A 1955, '56 & '57...that's right..."ALL" serial # 1's ..!!! Last year we were kindly invited to Mary's brother's home, ( of the "SheDrivesIt" fame ) George & Linda Swartz...We saw his amazing car collection, to include a serial #1, 1955 Corvette..!!! Well now,they have "ALL" three of them together..!!! On top of that, they have the very FIRST '57 Chevy that GM entered into the NASCAR circuit..!!! What an "AWESOME" machine !!! Maybe George will even start it up for us..!!!! Mary has done some leg-work on this project...and we are invited back, this time to see, probably for the very "LAST" time, together...the serial #1 Corvettes...they are going to auction, in late June, so this is it..... I surly hope our Ohio buddies can make this "Chance of a Lifetime" meet...., as well as all the surrounding area...!!!Have you ever been in a 50's / 60's diner and soda shop..??? Well George & Linda's home is such. Out of this world..!! and to add to that, their basement is just like walking into a 50's / 60's auto parts store, with nothing but Chevy parts..!!! Just like times past. So come on out, enjoy a footlong hotdog & a fresh brewed home made root beer...and then go see the "Vettes". One more thing..!!! George & Linda are Chevy fans...to say the least. Just think what their yard will look like, full of AP1's & AP2's...only kidding of course...they went for a drive with us last year...( with their, of course, bright red "SSR" ) Don't forget your cameras...I promise some one of a kind shots...Maybe "FurY" or Mark can lead us on a drive afterwards over to the Old Munitions factory, in Mainville...a piece of History, in itself and perhaps dinner afterwards....
