Default Columbus Autocross this Sunday

If any one is interested, the next Columbus autocross is this Sunday at Cooper Stadium. Today is the last day to pre-register. The last I looked, there were less than 90 drivers registered, so you'd get lots of runs.

OVR Autocross

I'm finally in town for one! I'm running a better alignment, but last year's tires, so I have no idea how competitive I'll be. I'll gladly offer anyone who shows up a ride.

Raybaer and I take passengers on most runs as well and if were the only ones in our class we let people ride all laps usually.

Can't wait to try the new Hoosiers out!!

First car out is at 9:30AM. Zero Bar and RayBaer are scheduled for heat 2, I'm scheduled for heat 3. I'm AS #42. Figure around an hour to an hour-and-a-half per heat. They will occasionally change up the schedule last minute, but based on the number of entries, I think they'll keep the current plan.

It's hard to say when we'll be running as sometime the heat number doesnt correlate to the order of the groups. I'm sure if you show up one of us will be running during the time your there.

True, but most of the time, they only significantly change the order when they drop from 4 heats down to 3. With 105 pre-registered, plus a few walk-ins, I think they'll stay with 4 heats. Of course, they will shuffle smaller classes sometimes to even things out - never an issue in AS, but more likely to affect BSP.

LOL, I read the schedule wrong anyways - BSP is currently in Heat 1. At least I got my scheduled heat right. I hate they way that they post those schedules. Is it so hard to just have Heat 1, then list the classes, instead of having a lookup table? Find/replace isn't that hard.

Yeah I know. Running heat 1 or 2 might not be too bad if their calling for afternoon showers but it's Ohio and they've called for rain for the past 3 days and we havn't gotten a drop yet!!

We don't want rain because we want to break in the new tires.
