The death of the CRX.......
Well the '89 CRX finally gave up it's ghost ...well accually it is "bleeding" to death. I was on my way home from work last Friday night when I came upon some RR tracks and during the crossing of said tracks I heard a "CRACK" This of course is not a good thing on a car that is excess of 200K .
Upon inspection I noticed fuel leaking from somewhere when I got home. The intent was to get it fixed last Monday but this was not to be; because somehow someway gasoline was finding it's way into the interior of the car
Well driving the S in the snow is out of the question and driving a gasoline soaked interior of a wounded CRX is also out of the question. Snow or no snow
So Monday night my eldest Daughter drove to Immke Honda where I purchased a 2000 Civic EX coupe 5sp. w/79k miles on the clock.
Of course it's black on black
and has everything the CRX didn't have like CD, moonroof,AM/FM,A/C and power.
THe CRX has been sold to one of my soon to be x-friends
.....not really he knows what's in store for him and is going to "gut " the car and turn it into a track monster.
