I don't know if this is all set in stone yet;but I would like to make a suggestion.

A trip to Old Man's Cave would not only be a lil shorter but also provide a good opportunity to stretch our legs and they have bathroom facilities on site.

After reading some of the previous posts, I would like to propose the following changes for this weekend's drive:

Brunch
Time: 9:00 am
Where: Max & Erma's @ Kenny/ W. Henderson

Drive
Time: 10:30 am
Meeting Place: Max & Erma's @ Kenny/ W. Henderson
Directions: http://maps.google.com/maps?daddr=45...,0.462799&om=1
Drive Route: TBD. Either Lake Hope Run (Gary to provide route) or Old Man's Cave Run (Popeye to provide route). We can determine what route over brunch.

Thoughts?

 

From Max & Ermas, we have about a 45 minute drive to the rendevous point, south of Lancaster.

There will be three bathroom breaks in about a 1.5-2 hour period with the Hope Run route I have planned.

Start Point - Rest Area (15 miles South of Lacaster)
Drive approximately 36 miles to Lake Hope - Restrooms
Drive approximately 36 miles back to Rest Area on a different route
End Point - Rest Area (on North bound side)

I think M&E opens at 9:30 for brunch, fellas. Gary didn't we learn this the hard way one morning?

9:30 am should be the meeting time unless you want to hang out side and chit chat before heading in.

I should be there around 9:30, following the C&D event I have at 8 am.
