Default Driver Intro Parade Lap Rules

I won't go into too much explanation, and those who have done this before can add to it:
- car must be clean, or look like it from ten feet. Bring appropriate supplies
.- no roll bars or roll cages and you must have a complete interior. Race seats are fine if someone can still sit on your secret compartment
- leave your parade boot at home
- keep your air con off once you pull onto the track
- you will have to sign a waiver from the track
- bring a towel for the driver to sit on (and one for the pass seat, which is where they put their feet)
- no passengers
- no alcohol drinking before the parade
The lead car will set the pace. Drive slow enough so the crowd can see them (especially in the Keyhole and Esses) but not too slow where it takes too long and the driver pees themselves in your car
We'll drive to the staging area as a group, and afterwards we'll head back to the bluff as a group. Some folks have posted videos from past event, so do a quick search and you'll get the idea.
Oh, if it rains, no parade lap...

2 questions:
1. Do you guys remove your windscreen to avoid potential damage?
2. What is this parade boot you refer to?

1. They sit where the windscreen goes, they don't sit in the seat.

2. The tonneau cover. We used them the first year and paid dearly as it decided to pour down with rain as we lined up, if we hadn't had the tonneau covers on we could've put our tops up and stayed dry.

Sounds good.

Do most people take their wind deflector/window out for this? Or just let them sit on it?

we take them off. Bring a pocket knife or a phillips screw driver to remove it.
