Obviously there are many more details to add and I will once they are confirmed. So please check back frequently.

Friday Track day will be much like last years open track where you will be free to go on, come in, or stay out as long as you wish. I do think there will be more participants this year for the open track and sometimes the track will be full so we just have to wait until one car comes in before another goes out. For Friday's track day I would like to see the owners that would like to be considered for instructors on Saturday's HPDE plus anyone who wants more experience on the track. Just like last year we might have different vehicles on the track so we can see how the S compares. Opening up to other cars depends on how many S owners sign up. If we cover our costs we might exclude other cars so the track does not fill up and therefore reduces our track time.

Saturday will be a full day and I expect more people to take advantage of the track and auto-x option this year. I also expect to see more of the +1's go out for track or autocross experience. Why let only 1 person have all the fun?
We will have our traditional banquet on Saturday night and there will be some changes to make it more exciting. Details to follow.

Sunday will be our traditional Fall Colors drive and we will shorten it this year to increase the time allowed for group interaction. Sunday's optional drive will be a nice Spirited or Touring drive of about 1 1/2 hours that will end in time for an early lunch and time to mingle with other owners. We will have some activities for those that choose not to take part in the drive. For those that have a long trip home they can start their journey a little earlier and those that are closer can just hang out and shoot the breeze with fellow owners.

HOST HOTEL

The host hotel is the Holiday Inn at Beaver Falls.

http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/hi/...anity=redirect

and the phone number is 724-846-3700.

Our group rate should be $79.00 a night for either a King size bed or two twins. They are located 2 miles from the track, yes 2 miles! They will have our group rate in the computer this Wednesday April 20th. Mention that you are with the Fall Colors Tour. If you are coming to Fall Colors please register EARLY with the hotel (and event registration too) for 2 reasons. One, there are 156 rooms at the Holiday in and we may need more than that number of rooms. There are 2 more local hotels so everyone will get a room close to the host hotel. Two, there is a question about banquet location. Right now we are scheduled to have our banquet in a VERY nice, newly renovated building. The only drawback is that it is 10 minutes away. Now that is not a big obstacle but it would be nice to have it in the host hotels ballroom. Right now they have someone else booked but I think that if we sign up for rooms in droves the hotel would consider moving the other party so we could have our banquet there. It is a long shot because there is a signed contract with the other group but you will help our situation if you reserve your rooms as early as possible. Again, the other location is great and our banquet will be outstanding if at the remote location.

PRIZES / FREE STUFF / & DISCOUNTS

The Holiday Inn has 1 suite. It has a King size bed, a living room with 2 loveseats and a recliner, a dining room with dining table and 6 chairs, a kitchen with full refrigerator, stove, and sink. And it is RESERVED for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. This prize will be given to the region that has the most attendees and +1's registered AND PAID by the end of Friday September 2nd!

The regional prizes will not end there and I will post more prizes at a later date. Your objective is to get your region to participate. Look for new owners in your area that can bump up your groups participation.

There will be plenty of other prizes for the banquet.

Free stuff in the goodie bag at registration.

Discounts for Saturday track instructors and pit workers. Preference will be given to participants that sign up for Friday's track day and based on track experience. I will start a separate thread for volunteers.

Discounts for Sunday group leaders. Preference will be given to participants that have led groups in past years and cars that have a +1 for ease of communication to the group. I will start a separate thread for volunteers.

I will be on vacation for the next week so I will not be able to answer pm's or post. As soon as I retun on the 26th I will get back to everyone.

Thanks for your support,

John Oldt
