Default Which gas?

I just ask myself which kind of gas are you using for your S here?
At an usual station I see only 87, 89 and 91 octane.
In germany Honda recommends 98 octane for the S. If it's not available you can also use 95. At some stations is 100 octane available.

So what are you using over here?

93 Octane. Usually Shell or BP.

What does Honda recommend here in the states?
I just wonder that we have to use 98, but you cant get 98 here. Even no 95. But it's the same engine (until 2004 ). Because we still have the 2l engine.

believe someone said they calculate octane differently in the states vs europe. can't remember where i saw that though.

Yep. Looks like you're right. I checked it @wikipedia.
There are differents between the europe and the US system.
US 87 is EU 91
US 89 is EU 95
US 93 is EU 98
