Default Getting Alignment Tomorrow

Going to Marysville to get the S aligned. Anyone want to meet up. I need to be at the shop around 8:00am.

Why Marysville? Is that the closest shop with the machine that doesn't grab the rim?

Can you explain more about this 'grab the rim'? I'm going in for an alignment after I get my rims back from refinishing next week, and would like to know why my dealer (or Ganley) can't do the job well (or safely, or whatever).

I don't know much about alignment equipment, so use small words....

Yup. Honda East will be getting the equipment also, but I have waited a month so far and the rack is not in. Eventually, all honda dealers will need to upgrade their alignment racks so the can alignments on the minivans with the PAX run-flat system.
I'm going to me dealer for an oil change on the Accord tomorrow morning. Is there some specific piece of equipment that makes it OK that I can ask about?

The rims I have are lipless or rimless. The teeth used to hold the alignment head to each wheel can't be used without damaging the finish or nicking the rim. The stock rim has a big lip on it and is not a problem.

Thanks, David! After I went to bed, I thought something like that must be the problem.

Are you getting the Honda alignment? I'm considering going for the UK alignment specs.
