I would recommend that you put in a better clutch first since when you smoke it with the charger you will need to remove the charger to the clutch. If you drive the car hard as I do, you will finish the clutch in about a weak. If you do easy shifting you might be ok for a while.

No problems so far with the OEM clutch and I have about 7k miles on it since the supercharger was installed. Driving habits will make a difference on how long the OEM clutch lasts.
I'm interested in seeing if there is a difference in performance once the OEM clutch gives out and is replaced.

I thiink SAmmy did it right. Why throw more money into the thing when you have a part that works? Just run the stoack ckutch out...then get a new one. I do not get these guys who replace the clutch when they SC.

According to Jeff G;the last time we spoke he recommended a clutch upgrade as part of the supercharger install because of the need to remove the the SC when the clutch finally needed it.

I think this is more a labor charge thing than a requirement issue. However mileage and prior clutch maintance should be taken into consideration.

....at least this is my understanding
