My boss sent us an email encouraging us to drive carefully and be safe.

I replied:

"My neighbors care about my safety. I am confident that they will ensure that I cannot drive fast enough to get hurt if I do hit something on the way home. I really appreciate how much they care about my well-being."

It took me one hour, fifteen minutes to do a twenty-minute drive after work.

....yesterday some of the associates at MAP went to a safety seminar @ Honda Hall.
One of the examples of being safe and never knowing when the unexpected can strike was of a husband who dropped of his wife at MAP only to be killed in an auto accident minutes afterwards

What the speaker found out after using this example was his widow was in attendance at this meeting. Needless to say there was more than one red face there

. . . hoping that it warms up a bit so I can wash my poor, filthy DD.

 

...wishing I had called the State Patrol to remind them to close the border.

 

...going to breakdown and run it through a car wash.

 

....just finishing witnessing history (and a pretty good speech) with my family. I hope my in-laws took pictures of the National Mall.

Now, back to work......
