Default Lebron!!!!!!!!

Let me try this again since my first posting didn't take for some reason. OhioRacer, if you could delete that thread, I'd appreciate it.

I don't know how any of you feel about the Cavs first draft choice of Lebron James, but I'm actually thrilled by it and the future of the Cavs. I haven't had any interest in basketball since the days of Daugherty, Price, Ehlo, Nance and others. It was refresshing to hear Lebron say that he would like to elevate the Cavs to those good old days. I'm really psyched and can't wait until winter begins. Did you hear that OhioRacer? Plus, another good thing about getting Lebron is he will attract a better coach for the team.

i think this is a huge move for cleveland, i am keeping my fingers crossed that something goofy doesn't happen and we botch the signing. i think it's really energized the city, and the idea of having a packed Gund Arena is pretty exciting. I think I'd go and watch a Cavs game, just to see what this kid is all about.

PS. Was that you I saw driving today down Ridgebury around 12:30?

someone at work recently compared to the unfullfilled hype when tim couch came to cleveland. is lebron "the answer"? well, maybe...that remains to be seen. i hope that our mgt. can eventually grow a team around him and be the next Chicago Bulls. wishful thinking, i'm sure, but it sure would be nice to be excited about cleveland basketball again. ... it's like we go in cycles...indians, then browns...now cavs?? i definitely plan on going to a cavs game this year.

r u going on the june 7th run? we're meeting in akron, right? if you're in my neck of the woods, do you want to meet around here first, then head down? just a thought.

I knew Tim Couch wouldn't be THE answer for the Browns because there are too many factors in football. However, to see what Michael Jordan did for the Bulls is possible with Lebron. Plus, why would Nike sign him to such a lucrative deal if THEY didn't believe in him as well?

No, I won't be going on the run.

I heard on the radio this morning that Larry Brown, coach of the 76ers (I think) is concidering resigning his post and is very much interested in coming to the Cavs because of Lebron.
