Mocky, get them warrantied. Should cure the problem unless there is something wrong with the latching mechanism itself.

i might ask them to replace mine with those. did that help with any rattle from the latches? mine shutter
i'm getting frustrated... taking the car back and forth this many times really shouldn't be happening..

I don't understand why they wouldn't just warranty new ones? your car is basically new....i guess i should say that I'm more surprised that they didn't just do that from the beginning versus sending you off in a car that was not fixed correctly.

This makes me think twice about my NSX exhaust.

Your car has the updated strikers, Either a bad latch or not adjusted correctly which in either case is warranty.

I don't know about on the NSX, but on the S2k, it's a known Comptech problem. David1 had the same problem with his as well. I was fortunate that Bill at Jay Honda took in my defective exhaust and warrantied out for a new one (even though I didn't buy it from him). The reason why it took so long is Comptech was working on a redesign on the mufflers which is supposed to fix the baffling problem.

Thanks everyone for the feedback on the roof. I'm going to give the dealership another try to fix it. If it comes back, and it's not fixed, I will seriously consider taking my business elsewhere. Bleh.

I still have the original strikers on my car and the soft top and hard top both fit pretty snug. I think Sammy's car has the ones that came with my hardtop, otherwise, they would be yours.

I think that's because the AP2s come with the "hardtop" strikers as the standard issue.

Thanks bro

I swear sometimes I think I got a lemon.....or maybe I'm being too picky? Although, I find it hard to justify not bitching about it when Cheryl's car is 5 years older than mine, has 60k more miles, and is quieter inside than my car...

I'll hope for the best .. if not...hmm... how much was Scott's S4?
