Hey!!! Who keeps letting these NASCAR rednecks in here? We should have our admin setup a filter for this sort of nonsense..........................................

Oh, oops, I guess you're probably not going to setup a filter for yourself, huh.

Here is a question for some racing minds. Will F1 ever go the way of NASCAR,CART,IRL and start using a spec car? or will they keep the truest form of racing alive with the best team wins that designs and develops there own design.

Now here's a topic to stir up some discussion. I think we've already been over what "should" F1 do, but you're asking a prediction of what "will" happen.

I was very suprised to see some of the proposals that came out late last year (penalizing the driver with the most points scored, having drivers switch cars based on where they stand, etc...), so it's hard to predict what will happen. If the economy doesn't improve thereby giving the small teams more cash, I think the pressure will continue to change the formula.

I would be suprised if F1 doesn't go through some sort of drastic change within the next five years. The business side success of NASCAR has to really look appealing to those running other racing series. Do I think the racing will be better?...No, but do I think it will happen?...Yes.

Just curious, does anybody have TV audience and/or track attendence figures for F1 over the past several years? I haven't heard much about the general trend in F1 whether they are losing, keeping, or increasing the world wide audience.

I heard that the American Dental Association was going to become a series sponsor for NASCAR

This is actually true! Didn't know you were so informed about F1 Carmen! Here's the full scoop: These people are so excited about the upcoming F1 season that they can't sleep. Therefore it only makes sense that sending them to an F1 race would cure all of their problems.

Now let's see, who would be the perfect NASCAR sponser............. I know, Planned Parenthood! Give us all a break and stop reproducing already!!
