New guy...
Hey everyone.... I'll be the proud owner of an 03 S2000 here in a few days...
I was curious if you all had any suggestions of what sorts of tires you use around here in the nasty winters?
I've heard good things about the Blizzak LM22's, but I'm not sure we really need full winter tires since we only really get a couple GOOD snows. But, I'm new to this, so fill me in.
Anyone have any suggestions?
I'll post up some pictures once I get my hands on the car, also!

I'm running Dunlop M3's.
I used to run Blizzaks, they are great on the snow/ice, but when the roads are dry and you want to have some fun their performance falls dramatically.
A friend, who also was an avid Blizzak user, convinced me to change to the M3's this year, so I did.
The M3's perform every bit as good in the bad weather, but they also hold their own in the dry. Kinda the best of both worlds.
From the articles I read before buying them, they are pretty much the "sportiest" dedicated snow tire you can get.
both are great, both are more than suitable in the winter weather, but I gotta give it to the M3's for all other scenarios.

I am also using the Dunlop Winter Sport M3 on the S, and they work well. I have a similar story to Apexracer, but I switched from Blizzak WS-50 to the M3, so it isn't an apples to apples comparison.

Probably the one of the best all around winter tires

WS-50/60s are a winter/ice tire. The LM22/25s are "performance" winter tires. Both have very soft compounds, but the LMs are not as good on the ice, but also will handle better. I ran both on my S4 and the LMs were noticeably better.
