I emailed several dealers in the C-bus area, and none of them called me yet.

33,420 i believe is what the one told me the MSRP on the 04 is.

Talk to Andy at Honda East. Let him know that Dave with the yellow S said to call. Get your best number then call. Will beat every time. They sell a lot of them and usually have 2 to 3 in stock at a time.

 

David1, Andy wouldn't match/beat the price my folks got on their new 04 Accord. I was surprised.

 

Thanks for the recommendation, my best offer so far is 1500 under MSRP, which I was told is going to be 33,290 from a different dealership. So the offer is now 31,790, which is better than the 33,060 my "hometown" dealer gave me.

I'll be sure to give Honda East a call before I decide.

 

Update: Andy at Honda East gave me a price 500 lower than my lowest so far. Things are looking up.

Now I just gotta sell the damn car I have now.

 

Well everyone, after trying to get some questions asked of Andy at Honda East, he never returned my emails, even though he was prompt in giving me my price quote.

I ended up getting that price matched at Mathews Honda in Marion. Plus, the guy selling me it didn't try to typical car salesmen pitches and ploys that I've gotten at other dealers. He was very straight forward and a pleasure to deal with (even though we have to play phone tag because I work full time and go to school full time).

Anyways, today I placed the deposit on a 2004 Silverstone / Reb Black S2K. Not sure how soon I can expect the car, but the sleepless nights have begun.
