Default Nice Day for a ride !

I couldn't help myself. It was too nice, so I took the new S2000 out for a spin
yesterday. Actually it went for 2 spins [ wife wanted to go also ]. All the way
up to about 260 miles now, but I couldn't resist a small dip into the 6K+ range.
Nice kick at that point javascript:smilie('').

Anyone else get out and about yesterday ?

hope so !

Nope, but I was dreaming about it! My S is in storage - it wil be a bit of work to prep it, so I'll just wait until a rain or two after the last snow.

Looks like another nice one today. Enjoy your new ride! What color did you get?

Also, put your VIN into your profile on the board and become an Owner.

Bu No VTEC until at least 600 miles!

I got a yellow one. Very subtle color ! My first experience in a yellow S2000 was being
followed by one of Euclid's finest for over a mile during a test drive. Decided it was the
color to have at that point [ actually it turns out we had no license plate on the car ].

I entered my vin number [ and color ] in my profile
but is looks like it didn't change from guest to owner. Oh well !

Its going to be hard staying out of vtec for another 350 miles ! Guess I should get
out more before the weather gets really nice.

No VTEC . It hit 45 yesterday and it was sunny all day. I actually had 2 car windows open on the way home from work. We must have sludge for blood after what seems like months of 17 degrees. It actually seemed WARM yesterday! Contrast that to if it was 45 in July. . John, welcome to the Spa team!!! P.S. It might take a little while for your thing to change to owner. Wait a day or two and see what happens. By the way, this topic tied us with Central Ohio for number of topics. Look out Mike (flyellow), here we come!!!

Did you buy it from Rick Case? When I was shopping over a year ago, their sales manager really tried to shaft me ($1K under MSRP for the car, $2K over MSRP for the hardtop). I hear that that sales manager is long gone, so maybe things are better there now.

Be patient - though there may not be any absolute proof, I figure the engine will last longer if you follow Honda's recommendations, and I want mine to last forever!

Will you be at the local owner's get-together tomorrow? (I just got an all expense paid trip to the Florida Grand Prix tomorrow, so I'll have to bow out).

I actually took my 911 to work yesterday and today. My wife is ready to have me commited, but my daughter liked it. Even though she's in the back, she can see out the side window which she likes.

This car is going to get me into a lot of trouble. After my Si which get's fun above 6000 rpm's, this car is outrageous. It's a lot of fun up to about 5000 rpm's, then it's holy @#!, get off the gas! I'm doing my best to burn off any possible carbon buildup from the previous owner by keeping it in the upper range as much as possible. It's a dirty job, but somebody has to do it.

And no, the weather is not looking very good for bringing it to the party tomorrow.

Sorry to hear you won't be joining us Jonas.

Yeah, I bought it from Rick Case. The GM is a friend I have made thru autoxing. Nice guy.
Sorry to hear about your experience there. I will take the opportunity to give my

it will be hard smilie(''). Will not be there on Sat, but I am looling forward
to meeting you guys and will try for the next get together !
