Sooooo I was in PA for the holiday weekend...my buddy calls me from CT and wants to meet up in NYC for the NYIAS! So I hop in my car and go. 2.5 hrs to NYC...not bad. Get to the show, park, then proceed to waste time in the first level before we realize that the "cool" cars were upstairs!

Saw the NISMO 350z...not bad,

Saw the S2000 CR it was SCHWEEET! I couldn't believe how much my foot was in my mouth about my previous threads. The blue color is like the Nogaro Blue of the Audis, only it had a pearl metallic finish. It was wayyyy better in person than in pictures. The front aero treatment looked childish in pics, but in person, it got rid of that pointy nose effect of the S.

the CR is everything an s2000 shoulda been.....its a perfect s2000 period. and limited so its goin to be worth something.

oh forgot to mention...got my Audi towed....NEVER NEVER do that again!!!! I had to sit through the most ridiculous NYPD BS ever. had to pay 300 bucks get it back.... ALL because the Benz dealer used that street as their personal overflow....did not like an out of state Audi parked between their Mercs......really shady. Prolly gave the cop a donut and asked them to kindly remove my car....there was a brand new ML sitting in front of a freaking hydrant when I came back...but my car was gone!!!

 

That's NYC for you. They got their own rules.
