These are the details as of what I know right now.....subject to change, so keep an eye on the subtopic line.....

Weather permitting, we need 28 cars (plus alternates) to participate in a parade lap of Mid-Ohio with a IRL driver or event VIP. They will sit between the seats where the windblocker is (you must remove it - it's easy).
This is sunday only. To participate in this you must:

- be there early sunday (time t.b.d.)
- car must be VERY clean
- cannot drink alcohol that morning
- must have tonneau cover in place
and be part of the decal program.......

You will be provided with a t-shirt to wear (that's why i asked for your sizes). No passengers. No hardtops (obviously). This is a great chance to meet some drivers.

Reply here or PM me if you want to do this. Don't bother to request a certain driver - i'll listen to requests the saturday before

There maybe more events and you must agree to any stipulations that maybe involved. The more active you are in the club, and with posting decal pictures, setting up photo ops, etc.....the more likely i'm likely to select you for this. Locals get priority.

Pete - I noticed in the sample pics from St. Pete, that all the cars had their tonneau covers. Is that a requirement? Just want to make sure I pack it for the trip.

 

That would be awesome to be part of the lap group....We are really looking forward to the whole event.
