Guess I must have just done my 7 or 8th fluid change on my S2000. Last time I purchased PCX filters it was a 6 pack online from a place that had been recommended here. I used the last of those 6 PCX filters today. So I went online to look for the place I ordered them before. Well, a bunch of ebay sellers came up with a pretty good price, so I check out ebay. I searched for PCX-004 and a number of sellers came up. Looking down the list I saw some oil filters at an unbelievable price of $34 for 6 with $6.50 shipping. I immediately ordered a dozen, and paid for them by PayPal.

Then I noticed that they were regular Honda oil filters and not PCX filters. Crap what was I going to do?

Well the ebay seller was Keenan Honda in PA. I looked up their phone number and asked for their parts department. I explained what happened and they immediately offered to cancel my incorrect order.

I checked their prices on genuine PCX filter and they were 3 for $28.50 (new compression washers included) still not a bad price, so I ordered 9. Shipping is $6.50 for the first 3 and $3 per each additional 3.

Props to Keenan Honda for being so cooperative.

That's a pretty impressive price. It show on the link as $30 for the 3 pack, plus $6.50 shipping. Still a really good price. I might order some soon as well. I have maybe 5 or so left of the correct PCX filter (which is the one in the ebay link).
I wonder if they would honor the price you got.

 

Or just get in touch with Bill at RCHondaparts. I know their online price is about equal to that, not sure about shipping. I bet he'd prob match for you

Thats pretty close to same price per filter I just paid at my dealer in Cincinnati (Honda East). Two of 'em with crush washers was about $25 and change with tax.
