A peak into Upstate...
Well I hope you guys got out and did some driving this past weekend, I know I did.
I started my Saturday by helping a local member do his first oil change on his S2000. I invited him to my house so we could get both of our cars done. Once this was done I jumped in My Spa and headed to the east so I could get together with a couple other members who live an hour or so away. We met up and had lunch, then headed out to a local vineyard that also has a custom brewery. We had a little beer tasting and then headed down to Watkins Glen for a quick pic near the Stone Bridge, a famous section of the vintage racecourse when the cars raced through the town.
After this we all split up and headed back home. On the way back I had a wonderful drive and here are a few pics that in many ways captures the feeling of Upstate.
The road is a joy to drive, and the view is, well, amazing! This is what you experience when you drive between Watkins Glen and Hammondsport, the south end of Seneca Lake to the south end of Keuka Lake.
