Please be careful out there!
After leaving Claddagh last night I drove straight home. As I turned right into my subdivision (just like the Rush tune 
), I saw three cars parked on both sides of the road with their flashers on. Apparantly, a dumbass in a Volvo (sorry Andy) was hauling ass on his way out of the subdivision as a truck was turning in and they collided. A third car, illegally parked, was also damaged. There was a kid in one fo the cars who went to the ER with a cut on his head.
One of my neighbors was out in his front yard watching the action and yelled something to me. I was driving at 23 mph in second gear, so I was annoyed at being chastised. Allowing my temper to get the better of me, I stopped, put it in reverse and backed up in front of the guy. I asked him what he said and sure enough he was telling me to slow down. I calmly smiled and pointed out that the numbers on my speedo are almost 2 inches high and it very clearly showed how fast I was going. I also pointed out that because a car sounds loud, doesn't mean it is speeding. He backed off pretty quick and actually apologized. He had a 350z until last year and we talked about cars for a few minutes. So its all good.
Just a reminder to everyone, please be careful in your nieghborhoods and mine. Kids are everywhere.
