I drove up 23 from West Virgina last year and got flashed every other mile. People would let me pass then flash me, so I would slow down get behind them and then show them what my brights realy look like. Once I got to 270 some kid sling shotted (word?) around me and flipped me off. i interduced his homo eclipse to Mr VTEC and rode his ass to 71 north with my brights on. This is why i think the concealed permit is great. So i can smoke some MFer and blame combat stress fatigue and do no jail time! mooooooohahahahahahaah! I'm kidding!?

Gee..maybe it's just me but I've never had a problem (yet) with the HIDs.

Of course when I'm in the S I'm usually doing over 80mph so not to many of the morons
around here care to keep up.

Since I installed the Eyebrows on the car, I don't get flashed so much. This does not seem like it should have much effect since the bulk of the light exits the headlight well below the eyebrow, but it seems to have helped, at least a little.

The other BIG factor to this is the short wheelbase and somewhat stiff suspension. The car bounces fairly easily on smallish bumps, so oncoming traffic thinks you are flashing your brights at them.

I had a "near fatal" run in with a guy at work over this. He's 6'8" and about 370 lbs. . He was quite unhappy with me one morning as I arrived behind him in the parking lot. I honestly thought I was going to get my a$$ kicked. Fortunately, after I quickly explained to him what he was seeing, he decided to spare me.

Alegedly, the 04M is not as bad for this issue due to suspension differences. Time will tell.

As for the other so called "drivers" that we run across on the road I have only one thing to say: "The biggest problem with the gene pool, is the lack of chlorine"...

I know when we drove to MARYSVILLE last year, I thought Mocky was flashing his brights at me or had a problem with his lights. They were really bright. But you are right, it's when you hit bumps and the front end jumps up.
