Review/Thoughts of Spring Mod Day

:hello:

First off, I want to thank Popeye for putting together a great event. It was a great idea and I'm sure a lot of behind the scenes work was done to make this run as smoothly as it did
Some people had mentioned that they would like to see this turn into an annual event. Thoughts?
Lastly, I thought we'd collect some feedback/suggestions for future mod days.

Again, great seeing everyone.... hope we have a great :drive: summer.. I'll see most of you guys in a few weeks

I wanted to thank Popeye for putting this whole thing together in the first place and the whole staff at Marysville Honda following through flawlessly. I was very impressed with the dealership, the courtiesness & attention to detail of the staff, and smoothness of the day's flow. They were movin' in and out all day without skipping a beat. I also wanted to thank them for setting up to have new key cut for me at the other dealership and Tiffany for driving me all the way over there. I'm looking forward to the next one.

:iagree:

Popeye did a great job putting this together. Thanks Popeye! This was the best (and first) Mod Day I've been to. I think it would make a great annual event. The only thing that would have made it cooler, in my opinion, is if there was an area set aside in the parking lot where we could have all parked together. Not a big deal - just a suggestion.

Gee Tim, why did you need another key?

Thanks again Popeye for organizing this. Too bad my day was jam packed, I would have liked to spend more time there. This is my 4th trip to Marysville Honda, and they always impress me. Their prices are reasonable, their techs seem knowledgable, and they are always courteous.

A few comments on my "mods". My 01 HU was dying, so I swapped in an '04 (thanks eiwoh). Did you know that the clock that was in the '01 HU got moved to the dash in '04? Well, I didn't. :( At least now, I have a new excuse for arriving late.

And the UK alignment?  . At $85, it is perhaps the performance bargain of the century. I can't wait to see what it feels like after I burn up the crappy tires that are on it now.

Great event. Thanks Popeye for organizing.

Soundzero, thanks for the V1 help.

Definitely would be up for doing this yearly.

I'm sorry I missed it :(

Enjoyed the Mod Day.

Thanks Popeye for setting this up, much apprecaited, it was worth it!

Didn't clear my headlights lol

My Valve Adjustment, oil change, clutch and break fluid bleeding has revived my S2000. It feels more smooth and responsive to trottle inputs and all together the driving feel from the brakes, clutch and shifting has improved feel for the car. With the V1 hardwired, it has freed up the center arm rest now. A definate plus! Thanks Andy and Timmy for helping me out.

The food and service provided by Marysville Honda was great. A big thanks goes out to them for allowing us to be there and hang around the service garage watching over our cars :) . I think it's customer service like this that helps to cataylize the shift to patronage to a dealership...and as suggested I support making it an annual thing.

Thanks again guys!

Sounds like a great day. Unfortunately, I had other things that had to be done, but I'd like to add my thanks to Popeye for putting this event together. Maybe I can make it next year.
