When making reservations be sure to mention "Group Code 'HON'"

Rates have gone up but what hasn't. They are holding 15 Double Rooms @$94.00/night. More rooms will be made available if needed. As in the past, we will have our own parking area with a hose provided for car washing.


As for the drive, we will be doing roughly the same drive as last year (minus missed turns and private drives :ponder: ). We will meet at Salt Fork Lodge for lunch (yet to be arranged) and then head south.

Definitely not a Honda only event.... (never has been)

Only request may be that in the S2000 photo-op, you don't upstage them by parking the Bimmer mobile right with them, but other than that, I don't see why anyone would have a problem with that..

I'm hoping to have a new ride by then but i may just tag along with David if he agrees not to kill me.

If you are worried about dying.. (I know I was, back in '04 :LOL: ), you can take my car and I can ride with Cheryl. Just putting that out there..

Not sure if that weekend works for my work schedule, but want to thank you for stepping up and organizing what I'm sure will be a great weekend. We all know there is no weekend that would fit with everyone's schedule, so don't worry about me missing this one. I wish you all sunny skies and mild temperatures...

I will call them tommorrow and get it straightened out. Today is going to be way to busy to get it done.

Working with Kevin at Marietta Brewing Company to figure out some alternatives. The back room is booked already (and it sounds like most weekends are already taken)....

Just tried to make a reservation at the hotel and they told me they couldn't/wouldn't take the reservation. The said they don't know what "Group Rate HST" is.

They said their group sales rep will be in the office in the morning and hopefully they will get things straightened out then.

Like I said before...

Just spoke to Kevin at Marietta Brewing Company. He has the upper deck section in the main dining room area blocked off for us. Unfortunately, the back section is unavailable so we will go back to how we used to do it.

I'll start to firm up the headcount soon. Just need to figure out a time to get to the brew company.. my thought was 7pm.

I'm in. I'll be driving to Athens after dinner though, so no hotel for me.

Update:

We got sponsorship!!! (well, sorta).

:hello: Mocky...We will most probably get the "Cincy" crew together, as in the past...stay in Columbus on Friday evening, and meet the whole crew @ Salt Fork, on Saturday......


I will start a thread, soon for a "Carvan" to Columbus... Anyone from Northern Ky, Indy area, or just anywhere around here, is more than welcome to join us. I will have to get a pretty good count, though... I will get us a discount rate at the same hotel that we have stayed @..in the past....

For those of us that are in the Mid Ohio Decal program do we want to keep the decals in place for this event?

That might be nice but I am not sure that I want to leave the decals on that long (fading, etc). It would all depend on when we put them on the cars.

If I can drive 5+ hours to Oxford, Alabama for SESM...I sure as hell can drive to Marietta, Ohio! :cool:

My wife and I are planning to do the drive this year. Don't know anyone, but I own the car. I am in the N. Canton area. We will have to drive back that night because of a newborn at home. Sounds like a good time, so hope to meet some new people.
