I have a feeling I'm going to be teased once we start seeing other people's pictures.

So, I figured I would start out the teasing. Okay, I took like *no* pictures this time, but I did record this for posterity.

Hmm, David1's car... looking good as always.

Let's get a little closer. Wait, what's that?

Holy crap! Is that dirt???

It is! What has this world come to?

Great Pic's! We have the evidence now! I'll get some of mine up eventually, have to catch up on all the yard work today.

Great trip, everybody had a great time. (Well, there were a few notable exceptions, but I won't get into that.)

To you so called weathermen out there: This must be what you guys do all day! See if I ever pay attention to a forecast again!

Anyway, I would like to apologize for the confusion on the first half of the route. Last year I came down Route 800 with no problems, but others recommended we take a different route this year. Obviously I wasn't familiar with it, and this resulted in a couple of mass chaos episodes. Also, the radio's actually added to the confusion when I picked up tidbits of conversations sounding like somebody was lost, but couldn't confirm what was going on. That resulted in the excursion to the Country Club, when in fact nobody was lost. Everybody seemed to enjoy themselves anyway, but it certainly didn't go as smoothly as I would have liked.

I bet there are gob's of pictures and video out there. I have some space on a server where I can post some large files if anybody is interested.

Special thanks to all the people who shared their prized possessions with myself and my co-pilot Rich at the end of the day. I finally got to drive an NSX (loved it), and Rich got an appreciation for what Honda/Acura can do. He's actually talking about the possibility of picking up an NSX someday. This from a lifetime Porsche owner. By the end of the day I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. Now all we need is a Ferrari at the next event!

Special thanks also to Carmen for putting this whole thing together and Jeff for the great support and door prizes.

Ok, I'm done. Hopefully I'll see you at Stan Hywett next weekend.

I will add my thanks to Carmen for all of his hard work and Jeff for his support! He really brought some great prizes for the participants that I feel went above and beyond of what any of us were expecting!!! Needless to say, Ganley Honda is at the top of my list. I just wish they were closer and I'd have all of my service done there!

*Edit* Thanks to you, Brad, for leading us on the drive! I think the before lunch portion this year was better than last time. If I remember correctly, last year we went through some smaller towns and had more opportunities to get stuck at traffic lights, etc. I much preferred your current route! Thanks again!

I had a freakin' blast!!!!!! Thanks guys for the kudos. Sometimes it's a pain in the rump collecting all these damn forms, but at the end of these events, it's like.......WOW, definitely worth it. You C-Bus guys MUST stay overnight on the next run. We had a good time at the "afterprom".
