Default Sebring This weekend

Audis on the front row (again)

Columbus Based Intersport Racing is pole position for P2.

Due to crappy weather, the grid was set using practice times from Wednesday and Thursday.

ASNA is still a supporter to the Champion/ADT team from Miami. Team Joest doesn't race much in the US anymore. They had the real factory support until 2003.

The R8 is such a dominant car, that until someone builds something better, there isn't much to change on it.

The Lolas that are running this year from Dyson and Intersport are a little faster than the Audis, but reliability has been their problem.

indeed..

two roll hoops vs one, some front design changes (the front didn't have those veilside-esque scoops before).. and i'm sure just improvements on a solid package has kept it going..

i followed the R8 when it first came out (there is a big poster of it behind me that i keep looking at it to see the changes)

The R8 needs more competition. The next Audi LM car is due next year and they announced that Mazda is joining the series too. ALMS is beginning to look like F1.
