I like the way that looks also, but I liked it better with the grilles painted....just like with the OEM bumper I had those grille tech's in them cause I didn't like the empty look......I think that it looks good both ways but I'll keep it painted for now...then when I get tired of it I can paint the center black so it looks like a different bumper again................Joe, any ideas as to how I can protect the bottom of it? I was still thinking about attaching the oem lip protector to the bottom with 3m auto tape...any other Ideas?

Trace out the lip to make a template and have pieces of 1/8 aluminum cut to fit then attach that to the bottom. This way once the skid plate wears out you can just change it.
