Default Solstice in the shop AGAIN

My business partner has a GXP with 670 miles on it. I like the ride and power but what a piece of crap. It's in the shop again. This is the third time for something major in 670 miles. Also, i saw a few yesterday. Both had their tops up and it was beautiful convertible weather here. I figure the top is such a pain in the butt that they'd all just rather drive top up.

Or maybe they had something bigger than a dictionary in the trunk...

Take it to Mallet and get a vette motor installed in it.

^ Next time you see one while out in your S2000, just pull up next to them and drop your top with simple power button then put it up again all within 30seconds. That is something they just can't do.

They look agressive in full race trim, but the stockers do have a little to be desired.

4 fouled plugs. The second time in 200 miles. It appears that Pontiac wants to keep fixing the symptom, not the underlying problem. They also sent a memo to dealers telling them that they are seeing this with cars that sit or aren't driven hard. What a crock.

I was told at the auto show that the Solstice has the fasted convertible top in the market, and that no power top could come close, so I wouldn't try based on this.

Seriously though, the things look good, but if GM can't even get a parts bin car to work right, how are they going to compete with Toyota.
